Local Bus Service Contract - Boxworth to St Ives

The Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority is seeking a supplier to operate local bus services on the Boxworth to St Ives route. The contract will begin on 1 June 2026 and run for 24 months with an optional 12-month extension (maximum 36 months total). The selected contractor must be capable of delivering the full service from the start date and will be required to follow specifications outlined in the Route Schedule, including route details, timetable, vehicle type, and ticketing equipment requirements. Any special conditions beyond the Invitation to Tender (ITT) document and standard conditions will be detailed in the Route Schedule. Providers are encouraged to explore integration opportunities with existing commercial bus services. The Authority reserves the right to not award a contract. Funding is provided through the Combined Authority's local bus service support allocation.
