Brief

This service provides evidence-based support for young people aged 11-18 (up to 25 if vulnerable) and their families in Cardiff, addressing healthy relationships and sexual health needs. The service is part of the Families First programme and targets individuals below the threshold for specialist health services or statutory care. Service offerings include: one-to-one and group sessions covering healthy relationships, sexual health, consent, online safety, gender identity, body image, misogyny, and domestic abuse awareness; family-focused support for parents and carers through individual advice, drop-in clinics, and group workshops; professional training and guidance for school and community staff; and partnership coordination to connect young people with appropriate specialist services. Suppliers should have expertise in youth engagement, family support, relationship education, and knowledge of safeguarding in relation to sexual violence and abuse.
