This framework opportunity seeks a qualified security software provider to develop and deliver a National Security Operations Centre (SOC) service for Irish local government organisations. The successful supplier will establish a centralised monitoring and threat detection platform that integrates with diverse technologies across multiple local authorities and government bodies. Key responsibilities include: (1) onboarding and monitoring various IT technologies and infrastructure across participating organisations; (2) identifying and analysing cybersecurity threats to the local government sector; (3) generating daily sector-wide threat intelligence reports and customised reports for individual entities; (4) alerting participating organisations of threats to their specific infrastructure with mitigation guidance; (5) providing automated response capabilities for predefined threat scenarios; and (6) collaborating with the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) to exchange threat intelligence via MISP standards. The LGMA will manage the overall programme, while the selected supplier will maintain direct engagement with participating organisations to ensure effective service delivery and continuous security improvement across the sector.
