This opportunity seeks a qualified provider to deliver one-to-one English language, communication, and linguistic support to Resident Doctors referred by the Midlands Professional Support and Wellbeing service. The programme targets international medical trainees whose first language is not English, aiming to improve clinical communication, interpersonal skills, professional confidence, and cultural awareness. The successful provider will be responsible for: enhancing spoken English proficiency including fluency, clarity, and delivery confidence; developing patient-centred communication skills applicable to clinical settings; identifying and addressing linguistic or cultural barriers impacting examination results, workplace relationships, or clinical interactions; and delivering structured assessments, personalised learning plans, and documented progress reports to demonstrate measurable improvement.
