Carbon Calculator Service for Northern Ireland Farms

DAERA (Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs) seeks a supplier to provide a comprehensive Carbon Calculator service for Northern Ireland farms. The service must include software administration, delivery, licensing, technical support, and maintenance. The calculator will enable farm businesses to measure their carbon footprint at three levels: whole farm, enterprise, and product level. The supplier must deliver training to help farmers interpret results and implement strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Over four financial years (2026/27 to 2029/30), the service must support the completion of approximately 28,400 farm carbon footprints. This is a critical initiative to help Northern Ireland's agricultural sector reduce its environmental impact and meet sustainability goals.
