Inventory Management and Point-of-Care Scanning Systems for NHS Supply Chain

This procurement opportunity invites qualified suppliers to provide services for managing high-risk medical devices and healthcare consumables across the NHS supply chain. The framework agreement will establish services in three main areas: Inventory Management Systems (IMS) to track medical supplies; Point-of-Care Scanning Systems to improve clinical workflows; and supporting hardware devices. The opportunity is divided into four lots that suppliers can bid for individually or in combination: Lot 1 covers IMS only, Lot 2 covers Point-of-Care Scanning only, Lot 3 covers combined IMS and Point-of-Care Scanning systems, and Lot 4 covers hardware devices. This framework aims to enhance patient safety, improve supply chain resilience, increase clinical productivity, and reduce costs. Suppliers of all sizes are encouraged to participate, and each lot will be evaluated independently. Suppliers are expected to contribute to the development of final requirements based on their capabilities and may bid for any combination of lots without restriction.
