Independent Advocacy Support for Parents in Child Protection Cases

Newcastle City Council is seeking one or more providers to deliver independent advocacy support services to parents involved in child protection processes and court cases within Newcastle. This 36-month contract offers the opportunity to work directly with the Council to provide consistent, reliable support to vulnerable parents across the city. The service should help parents navigate complex child protection systems and legal proceedings. The Council has allocated an annual budget of £119,549 for this service. Providers should demonstrate experience in family advocacy, understanding of child protection law, and the ability to provide impartial support to parents regardless of case outcomes. The successful provider(s) will play a critical role in ensuring parents have access to qualified advocacy throughout their involvement with child protection services.
