Kent Fire and Rescue Service requires ongoing servicing, maintenance, and technical support for a specialist smoke capture and filtration system installed in the Ashford Live Fire Training Building. The system was designed and installed by Draeger Safety UK Ltd and is a bespoke, proprietary solution not based on open protocol platforms. Due to the system's manufacturer-specific design, only Draeger Safety UK Ltd possesses the necessary proprietary knowledge, certified components, and technical expertise to safely maintain and service the equipment. This is a direct award contract to ensure continuity of operations, maintain safety compliance, and preserve system integrity. The contract term is 20 years, covering the full operational life of the system. Services include routine maintenance, repairs, technical support, and provision of manufacturer-specific components as required.
