A9 Road Dualling Framework Agreement - Design and Construction Services

Transport Scotland is establishing a multi-supplier Framework Agreement to deliver the design and construction of five sections of the A9 trunk road between Perth and Inverness, totaling approximately 92.4km. The work involves upgrading each road section to Dual 2 Lane All-purpose roads (D2APc standard) and constructing associated bridges, junctions, culverts and road infrastructure in accordance with UK Design Manual for Roads and Bridges standards. The framework is divided into two lots based on contract value: Lot 1 includes Pass of Birnam to Tay Crossing (8.4km), Glen Garry to Crubenmore (20.5km), and Crubenmore to Kincraig (16.5km); Lot 2 includes Killiecrankie to Glen Garry (22km) and Dalraddy to Slochd (25km). Tenderers may apply for one or both lots with no limitation on the number of lots awarded to individual contractors.
