Grounds Maintenance Services Framework – Award Announcement

This opportunity has been awarded and closed. Hertfordshire County Council (HCC), through its trading arm Herts Fullstop (HFS), established a Grounds Maintenance Framework to deliver comprehensive grounds maintenance services across County sites including schools, fire stations, libraries, day centers, and disused properties. The Framework provides services such as grass cutting, hedge trimming, sports field line marking, shrub bed maintenance, and leaf clearance. The Framework is available to all Council departments and can be extended to partner organizations and customers, potentially beyond Hertfordshire's geographical boundaries. The current annual spend by HCC on this Framework is approximately £2,000,000, though this varies year to year. The quoted figures are indicative and account for potential use by other councils and bodies, which may join during the Framework's term. Six contractors have been awarded: Churchill Contract Services Ltd, Glendale Countryside Ltd, John O'Conner (Grounds Maintenance) Ltd, Mark Walker (Grounds Maintenance) Ltd, PGSD Ltd, and Stewart Bullard and Son Ltd.
