Brief

RAICo seeks innovative solutions to decontaminate remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) while submerged in nuclear storage ponds. The decontamination system must be operated remotely and reduce contamination levels to within permissible thresholds, enabling safe ROV removal from the pond for maintenance operations. While hydro-water washing methods are preferred, all effective decontamination techniques are welcome. Successful solutions will enable both preventative and essential maintenance of critical underwater equipment in nuclear environments. Suppliers should have expertise in underwater robotics, decontamination technologies, or remote operations in high-contamination environments.
