Speech, Language and Occupational Therapy Services for Schools

Sheffield City Council is seeking to procure two specialist services: Speech, Language and Communication (SLCN) support and Occupational Therapy (OT) support. These services will deliver the Experts at Hand multidisciplinary team (MDT) model within education settings, providing expert assessment, advice and intervention for children and young people with communication and occupational therapy needs. The successful provider(s) will deliver both direct clinical services and indirect support including staff training, advice to educators and families, and participation in multi-agency planning meetings. The services will integrate with a broader MDT including Educational Psychologists, Specialist Teachers and other health professionals to enhance system capacity and support schools, children and families. This is a market engagement opportunity to understand supplier capability and interest in delivering these services.
