Business Support Services for Cheshire and Warrington Growth Hub

East Cheshire and Warrington (ECW) is seeking a qualified service provider to deliver integrated business support services through the Cheshire and Warrington Growth Hub. The successful bidder will provide flexible, responsive support to SMEs across the region, addressing fragmentation in current provision and improving business navigation of available services. Key responsibilities include: delivering practical adviser support, business readiness assessments, follow-up services, and ensuring clear referral pathways across the business support ecosystem. The service will complement existing national, regional, and local provision while adding capacity to the National Business Growth Service. This is a 12-month interim contract with quarterly reviews, designed to maintain continuity during the transition to a Combined Authority-led service. The contract will be evaluated based on the bidder's capacity to deliver quality assurance, manage relationships, meet service levels, and propose innovative solutions. Bidders are encouraged to suggest cost-effective and efficient delivery models. The successful provider must demonstrate continuous improvement against key performance indicators and customer satisfaction metrics throughout the contract term, with underperformance potentially leading to contract termination.
