Project Monitoring Surveyor for Digbeth High Street Development

The West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) is seeking a qualified Project Monitoring Surveyor to provide independent oversight of the Digbeth High Street Development construction project. The successful surveyor will be responsible for reviewing project progress, verifying insurance compliance, monitoring cashflow management, tracking programme schedules, assessing procurement practices, controlling costs, and examining design documentation. Key responsibilities include preparing interim progress reports, reviewing utilisation applications and expenditure claims from the applicant, verifying that costs align with approved budgets, monitoring design and specification variations, and confirming milestone completion against the Funding Agreement terms. The surveyor will provide recommendations to WMCA regarding fund drawdown decisions and certification that the applicant has satisfied contractual obligations and funding conditions.
