Primary Care Medical Records Support Services

NHS England is procuring a Primary Care Support Service (PCSS) for Medical Records to provide essential administration services for primary care providers across England. This service will manage the complete lifecycle of patient medical records through three key service lines: (1) Records Administration and Movement Services - handling the day-to-day processing and transfer of patient records between healthcare facilities; (2) Records Collection - gathering and organizing medical records from various sources; and (3) Archive Storage - providing secure, compliant long-term storage of patient medical records. This procurement is designed to support primary care delivery by ensuring efficient, organized, and secure management of medical records across the primary care system.
