    Brief

Cambridgeshire County Council seeks contractors for a framework agreement to provide planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance services across its 33,000-acre farm estate in Cambridgeshire. The estate comprises approximately 257 holdings occupied by 183 tenants, including 134 dwellings and 450+ buildings (crop stores, implement sheds, etc.). This is the largest county farm estate in England and Wales. Contractors may apply for one or more of three service lots: Lot 1 - General Building Services (windows, doors, drain services); Lot 2 - Electrical Services; Lot 3 - Roller Shutter Door Services (repair, maintenance, servicing, replacement). Works are typically small planned and reactive jobs with values up to £5,000, such as plumbing repairs, boiler breakdowns, electrical fault diagnosis and repairs, and building repairs (roof leaks, rainwater goods). The selected contractor(s) must provide weekday (Monday-Friday) service and emergency call-out capability. This framework covers the majority of minor building maintenance needs; larger, specialist, or more costly projects will be procured separately.
