Supply of Electric Vans for 12-Month Trial

Wrexham County Borough Council (WCBC) invites suppliers and manufacturers to provide five electric vans on a 12-month trial basis to support an EV home charger trial within the Council's Housing Department. This trial will help inform the Council's long-term fleet replacement strategy and carbon reduction goals, as the department currently operates 91 diesel vans under contract. Vehicle specifications are available on etenderWales (project 63625, ITT itt_125870) or by contacting procurement@wrexham.gov.uk. The Council prefers vans compliant with ISO 1158-2 standard for Plug & Charge and/or Auto Charge features to enable automatic cost reconciliation and distinguish between Council and personal vehicles when using home chargers. Suppliers unable to meet current requirements but capable within 12 months, or those with alternative solutions meeting charging requirements, should outline these options in their response.
