Brief
Valleys to Coast is inviting market feedback on a planned Contractors Framework to support house building, regeneration, refurbishment, alterations, and extensions. This is a preliminary engagement exercise to gather supplier interest and shape the framework design before formal procurement begins.
Framework Structure:
The framework will be divided into four lots based on project unit volume: Lot 1 (1–5 units), Lot 2 (6–15 units), Lot 3 (16–49 units), and Lot 4 (50+ units). Suppliers may bid for up to two lots and can be appointed to a maximum of two lots. The framework will appoint up to four contractors per lot.
Key Features:
- Duration: Three years with an optional one-year extension
- Procurement conducted under the Procurement Act 2023 using the competitive flexible procedure
- Focus on local presence, technical experience, and social value
- Mix of direct single-source awards and competitive mini-tenders for call-offs
- Open to small, medium, and large enterprises
- Framework established for Valleys to Coast and its wholly-owned subsidiaries and group companies
How to Participate:
Suppliers interested in providing feedback on the framework are invited to register their interest by 24 August 2026 by emailing Liam.davies@v2c.org.uk. Please indicate which lots interest you and provide any additional comments on the proposed framework design. This engagement is for information-gathering only and will not affect future procurement evaluation.
