Commercial Waste Collection and Recycling Services - Daresbury Laboratory

UKRI's STFC Daresbury Laboratory is seeking a waste management contractor to handle all general and commercial waste streams in compliance with waste hierarchy principles and legal duty of care obligations. The successful contractor must demonstrate the ability to: (1) eliminate landfill disposal of non-hazardous waste; (2) increase recycling and reuse rates through measurable, transparent reporting; (3) provide innovative waste management solutions and technologies; (4) educate and inform laboratory stakeholders on waste reduction practices; (5) continuously improve processes and environmental outcomes; and (6) remain compliant with evolving environmental legislation, particularly the Environment Bill requirements. The contractor should be modern, forward-thinking, and cost-effective in delivering comprehensive waste services.
