Crane System Concept Design Study for STEP Fusion Powerplant

UK Fusion Energy (UKFE) is seeking bids from qualified suppliers to conduct a Crane Concept Design Study in support of the STEP (Spherical Tokamak for Energy Production) programme. STEP is a major UK initiative to design, build, and operate a demonstration fusion powerplant that will deliver net power to the UK grid from fusion energy by the 2040s. The project will be based at West Burton Power Station in Retford, with supporting work at Culham Science Centre in Abingdon.
