Tackling Antisemitism in Education Innovation Fund - Competitive Grant

The Department for Education has awarded competitive grants totalling £1,000,000 under the Tackling Antisemitism in Education Innovation Fund programme to four organisations implementing innovative educational initiatives: 1. Someone Else's Eyes (£500,000) - A four-stage programme for learners aged 16+ in schools, colleges and higher education settings, featuring simulated social media feeds for practicing respectful disagreement and mixed media projects in multifaith groups. 2. Collingwood Learning with Holocaust Centre North (£200,000) - Develops a touring theatre production delivered to secondary schools across the north, combined with bespoke workshops for young Jewish people. 3. Board of Deputies of British Jews (£100,000) - A programme targeting Catholic secondary schools to teach antisemitism recognition, critical online content assessment, tolerant dialogue, and Jewish identity and lived experience. 4. NUS Charity (£200,000) - A fellowship programme for higher education students training campus leaders to promote inter-faith and inter-cultural dialogue. These initiatives aim to combat antisemitism through education, dialogue, and cultural understanding across multiple educational settings.
