Housing Repairs and Void Property Works Framework - Central Bedfordshire Council

Central Bedfordshire Council, a unitary authority established in 2009 serving approximately 315,900 residents across 716 km² (276 sq miles), is conducting a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) exercise to shape a new Framework Agreement for Housing Repairs and Void Property Works. This is a non-binding consultation under the Procurement Act 2023 (Sections 16-17) designed to gather input from interested suppliers on the proposed framework structure, commercial model, and technical requirements before the formal competitive tender process begins. The Council operates from Chicksands and covers major centres including Leighton Buzzard, Dunstable, and Houghton Regis. Suppliers are invited to provide feedback on scope, delivery approach, and contract terms to influence the final framework design. Following this engagement phase, the Council will launch a competitive procurement process based on stakeholder input.
