Engineering Partner for Small Modular Reactor Project Development

This opportunity seeks an Engineering Partner to provide comprehensive engineering services for a Small Modular Reactor (SMR) project. The role involves advancing the concept design from RIBA Stage 2 (Spatial Planning) through to RIBA Stage 7 (Use), with responsibility for detailed design development across all project lifecycle stages. Key responsibilities include: leading design progression through RIBA Stages 3 and 4 (Technical Design), managing site works engineering, supporting emerging scope through additional RIBA stages (0-7), and overseeing design change and control processes. The Engineering Partner will work alongside the Foundation Engineer and provide continuous design management support throughout the entire SMR project lifecycle. This is a long-term strategic partnership with an estimated contract value of £200m-£400m.
