Governance and Clerking Services for Academy Trust

The City of London Academies Trust seeks a governance professional to provide comprehensive clerking and administrative support to Local Boards across all academies. Key responsibilities include: preparing and distributing meeting agendas and papers; managing the GovernorHub platform; offering procedural, constitutional and regulatory guidance during board meetings; producing accurate minutes and maintaining action logs with follow-up tracking; advising on governance best practices and compliance with statutory requirements; supporting elections, appointments, annual general meetings and panel hearings; maintaining governance records, registers and documentation; and liaising regularly with the central governance team to ensure consistency and continuous improvement across the trust. This role is essential for maintaining effective board operations and regulatory compliance.
