Mechanical Engineering Framework Agreement for Nottinghamshire County Council

Arc Property Services Partnership Limited is seeking a qualified mechanical engineering contractor to deliver a comprehensive range of services across its operational estate in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, South Yorkshire, and Leicestershire on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council. Framework Services Include: - Plumbing and water systems (installation, maintenance, repair of hot/cold water, drainage, sanitaryware, and water hygiene) - Heating and mechanical plant (servicing, maintenance, and installation of heating systems including gas, oil, electric, and renewable technologies) - Fuel, gas, and energy infrastructure (installation and maintenance of fuel storage, gas systems, safety systems, and energy infrastructure) - Building management systems (BMS/BEMS) provision, maintenance, and modification - Installation and minor works (new installations, replacements, adaptations, and associated making-good) - Testing, commissioning, and compliance (statutory testing, certification, and handover documentation) Key Details: - Contract Type: Single-supplier NEC4 Framework Contract with call-off arrangements via quotation - Duration: 2 years initial term with options to extend for 2+1 years (maximum 5 years) - Total Framework Value: £13,200,000 (inclusive of VAT) with no guarantee of specific work volume - Geographic Coverage: Geographically dispersed estate across four counties - Procurement Process: Two-stage competitive flexible procedure under the Procurement Act 2023 - Evaluation: Stage 1 selects top 4 bidders on qualification criteria; Stage 2 awards based on 70% quality / 30% price weighting Successful suppliers must demonstrate collaborative working, contribute to social value, support carbon reduction objectives, and maintain high health and safety and compliance standards.
