Divis Future Works Project

The National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty is seeking proposals for the "Divis - A View to the Future Project," funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. This project aims to improve access, enhance visitor engagement, and protect the unique landscape of Divis and the Black Mountain in Northern Ireland. The work will focus on four main areas: the visitor hub and entrance from Divis Road, the Summit, the boardwalk south of Divis masts, and the existing farm track connecting to Glencairn Road. Additionally, signage and interpretation elements will be added along the walking trails. This procurement process consists of two stages: Stage One (RFP1) will gather initial information from suppliers regarding their capacity, capability, and relevant experience. Successful bidders from RFP1 will be invited to participate in Stage Two (RFP2), where they will submit a Proposal Costing. Key dates include the issuance of RFP1 on April 25, 2025, with a return deadline of May 23, 2025, and RFP2 issued on June 2, 2025, with a return deadline of July 1, 2025. The contract is expected to be awarded in August 2025, with work commencing in September 2025. Suppliers can access the tender pack through the Proactis Plaza portal.
