    Brief

The Mayor of London's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) is seeking a provider to lead the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Voluntary and Community Sector Expert Reference Group (ERG). This is an independent advisory group that brings together VAWG sector experts to provide strategic input and advice on London's response to violence against women and girls. The ERG ensures the voices, needs, and experiences of women, girls, victims, survivors, and their organizations are heard and represented at decision-making levels. With increased investment from the Mayor for the remaining 3.5 years of his term, the successful provider will support delivery of key VAWG priorities: preventing violence, supporting victims and survivors, and holding perpetrators accountable. This role is essential to making London safer and aligns with the Mayor's Police and Crime Plan 2025-29, which prioritizes reducing violence and criminal exploitation, building safer communities, reforming the Metropolitan Police, and improving the criminal justice system.
