Design and Supply of Slab Track Systems for Urban Rail

Ferrovial BAM JV is seeking suppliers for the design and provision of standard slab track systems as part of their urban rail project. This includes all permanent way materials, specifically the precast slab system for switches and crossing units (S&C) and rail expansion devices (REDs). The ironwork supplier for S&C and REDs is predetermined by HS2 (Voestalpine Turnout Technology). The responsibilities for the design of the standard slab track are shared between the design team and the supplier, as detailed in the attached documents. This encompasses bearers/slabs, rail fastening systems, and any supporting layers above the Frost Protection Layer (FPL). The structure deck or stations will be provided by others, including any necessary reinforcement.
