Co-design Consultant for Nature Towns & Cities Programme

The National Trust is seeking an external consultant to facilitate a creative and inclusive co-design process for its Communities programme under the Nature Towns and Cities initiative. This UK-wide project aims to enhance access to nature and green spaces in urban areas for the benefit of all, supported by various public, private, and third sector organizations. The selected consultant will be responsible for: 1. Understanding the challenges and opportunities faced by local voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) organizations in fostering and maintaining natural spaces in their communities, thereby encouraging more people to connect with nature nearby. 2. Engaging community members in discussions to explore potential solutions and interventions for addressing systemic issues. 3. Collaborating with stakeholders, including members of the Nature Towns and Cities Coalition, to develop practical solutions and interventions. 4. Gaining support and, when necessary, participation from key stakeholders in the implementation of the developed solutions.
