Cyber Security Operations Support

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) is seeking a supplier to enhance its cyber security capabilities. The selected supplier will work closely with MHCLG to improve its cyber security posture and provide a managed detection and response service available 24/7 throughout the year. This role involves integrating with MHCLG's security incident response process, managing Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) alerts, and creating tickets in the IT Service Management (ITSM) tool. The supplier must provide qualified personnel and establish a formal team structure to meet the requirements of this security contract. A service delivery manager will be responsible for keeping MHCLG informed about any issues or risks related to information security. Additionally, the supplier will serve as a point of escalation for security concerns and must promptly notify MHCLG of any high-risk security threats, conducting risk assessments for the supported environment.
