Grosvenor Barracks Regeneration Development Opportunity

The Department for Communities (DfC) is seeking a qualified developer to regenerate the former Grosvenor Barracks site into a vibrant, inclusive residential community. The project will include private housing and a minimum of 60 social housing units, all designed to meet sustainable and low-carbon standards in a high-quality environment. The successful developer will: (1) secure full planning permission and obtain approval from all statutory bodies; (2) complete all design and construction work in compliance with relevant regulations and legislation; (3) arrange delivery of social housing units through a Housing Association partnership; and (4) enter into a Development Agreement under Licence with DfC that outlines contractual obligations, conditions, and procedural requirements. This is a preliminary market engagement phase to gather stakeholder feedback and refine procurement documents before formal tender.
