Food Waste Containers Supply

Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole Council is seeking suppliers for the provision of food waste containers as part of a new initiative to implement food waste collection services across all residential properties in Poole, including houses and flats. This project aims to enhance domestic food waste collection services, particularly in areas that currently lack this service, mainly in Bournemouth. The successful supplier will be responsible for the coordinated delivery of various products, including leaflets, wheeled bins, containers, and caddies, to approximately 4,625 flat blocks and 51,978 houses. In total, 190,928 food waste containers are needed, consisting of 7L and 23L food containers, as well as 140L wheeled bins. This initiative is designed to improve efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint associated with waste collection.
