Consultant Design Team for Thanet District Council Office Ground Floor Refurbishment

Thanet District Council is seeking a qualified consultant to provide comprehensive multi-disciplinary design team services for the refurbishment and reconfiguration of its office ground floor. The successful supplier will deliver a full design team including a Project Manager, Lead Consultant, Designer, MEP Consultant, and Cost Consultant. Responsibilities include: preparing detailed designs and specifications for a future construction tender; managing the tender process; serving as Project Manager and Contract Administrator; and acting as Principal Designer for CDM and Building Regulations compliance. The engagement will run for 12 months from July 2026, with a break clause at RIBA Stage 4 to confirm cost feasibility. Subsequent RIBA Stages 5-6 will require formal approval. Bidders must submit quotations via the Kent Business Portal by 14:00 on 19 June 2026, with any questions submitted by 14:00 on 29 May 2026.
