Emergency Chlorine Tablet Supply Agreement

The Authority is seeking a chlorine tablet supplier to establish a direct contractual arrangement ensuring resilient supply of chlorine disinfectant combination tablets (1.7g NaDCC with detergent) during national pandemics or public health emergencies. The supplier must own and operate production machinery, maintain dedicated stockholding of 9-30 million tablets' worth of raw materials and packaging components at their own facility, and guarantee priority weekly delivery to UK locations even during border closures. The supplier must demonstrate capacity to produce approximately 3 million tablets per week under emergency conditions and maintain continuous supply throughout any emergency period. This agreement operates independently from the Authority's existing Chlorine Framework and is not a call for competition, but rather pre-market engagement to identify suitable suppliers ahead of formal tender documentation.
