Group Medical and Accidental Insurance for British High Commission Staff in India

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), represented by the British High Commission in New Delhi, is seeking a competitive procurement for an Insurance Broker and Insurance Provider to deliver two group insurance products for country-based staff and their dependents. Product 1 covers group medical insurance including outpatient (OPD) and inpatient (IPD) services; Product 2 provides group accidental insurance for staff members. The Insurance Broker will be engaged for 3 years, while the Insurance Provider will be contracted initially for 1 year, with the option for two additional 1-year renewals. The policy period will commence on April 1, 2027. The Broker will support the British High Commission in selecting the Insurance Provider for the subsequent 2-year period. This is an open tender procurement process. Interested Insurance Brokers and Insurance Providers are invited to participate in a virtual Market Engagement Event where detailed requirements will be presented, the procurement process outlined, and stakeholder feedback solicited to ensure optimal insurance coverage and value for money for FCDO staff.
