Project Management and Surveying Services for Police Estate Modernisation

Sussex Police is seeking project management and quantity surveying services for the Estate Transformation Programme, a major capital investment to modernise and reorganise its property portfolio. The programme addresses the challenge that much of the current estate is over 50 years old, oversized, and misaligned with modern policing methods, agile and hybrid working practices, digital capabilities, and specialist operational and training needs. The scope includes major refurbishment, alteration, and new build projects to deliver: upgrades to existing buildings to resolve functional and compliance issues; improved welfare, wellbeing, changing, locker, and exercise facilities; enhanced specialist training environments; flexible, modern workspaces; and improved parking capacity and site functionality. Service providers should have expertise in managing large-scale estate transformation projects, quantity surveying, cost control, and delivering complex capital programmes within public sector environments.
