Water Supply and Sewage Treatment System for Mundy Playing Fields

Opportunity to design, supply, install, test and commission a complete water and wastewater system for Mundy Playing Fields pavilion in Thornbury. The project includes: installation of approximately 380-400 metres of new 63mm potable water main from Kington Lane to the pavilion with full excavation and reinstatement; a minimum 40 population equivalent packaged sewage treatment plant with foul drainage connections, inspection chambers and percolation testing; environmental permitting and regulatory support; and decommissioning of the existing cess pit. The successful contractor must be experienced in potable water infrastructure, sewage treatment plant installation and public groundworks, and will be responsible for all labour, materials, plant, design, supervision, testing, certification and waste disposal. Works must be coordinated with Thornbury Town Council, Bristol Water and relevant regulators, completed in compliance with all health and safety, water supply, environmental and building regulations, and delivered with minimal disruption to park users and playing surfaces.
