Fens Reservoir Project Market Launch Event

Anglian Water Services Limited is hosting a Market Launch Event on 29 June 2026 to engage with suppliers about the Fens Reservoir project, a major water infrastructure initiative addressing climate change and water security challenges in the East of England. The event marks the formal start of market engagement for this Strategic Resource Option, which will deliver drinking water to customers of Anglian Water and Cambridge Water while providing environmental and community benefits. The Fens Reservoir comprises abstraction intake structures, treatment works, a reservoir embankment, water treatment facilities, and pipeline transfers. AWS is seeking feedback on its commercial and procurement strategy for Main Works Contracts, including packaging options and Early Contractor Involvement approaches, before launching the formal tender process. The project is being delivered under the Specified Infrastructure Project (SIPR) regulatory framework and will require Development Consent Order approval as a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project.
