Security Services Provider for Greater Manchester Transport

Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) is seeking a qualified Security Service Provider to deliver comprehensive security services across its estate. Services include key holding, alarm response, opening and locking premises, static and ad hoc manned guarding, and commissionaire services delivered primarily on a call-off basis. The provider must employ high-calibre, appropriately licensed personnel compliant with the Private Security Industry Act 2001 (PSIA) and relevant legislation. Key responsibilities include safeguarding TfGM staff, assets, and customers; deterring anti-social behaviour and violence; providing trained commissionaires for front-of-house operations at the head office outside core hours; delivering lone worker support; conducting vacant property inspections; providing eviction support (including potential K9 services); and key holding services. The Service Provider will work under the direction of Facilities Operations Managers and must demonstrate a proactive, collaborative approach with strong emphasis on risk management, continuous improvement, and consistent delivery of high-quality compliant services aligned with defined performance standards.
