Digital Transit Pass Service Integration with Google Wallet

Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) is seeking to modernize its ticketing system for concessionary and commercial travel schemes across the Bee Network. Currently, customers must apply for and receive physical ITSO smart-cards by post to access travel benefits. TfGM now requires a Digital Pass capability to enable customers to access these services through mobile devices, including phones, watches, and wearables, integrated with the Bee Network App and major mobile wallet platforms. This procurement is for the Yotra Transit Services Agreement, which will enable integration with Google Wallet and mobile operating systems. Through this service, customers will be able to apply for passes, purchase products, receive digital fulfillment directly to their mobile devices, and view journey history. This single-source procurement with Yotra Ltd is necessary because Yotra is the only provider able to facilitate the required integration with Google's technology infrastructure. The agreement will work in conjunction with a Transit Operator Participation Agreement covering the Google mobile application and wallet functionality.
