Brief

University of Cumbria is seeking a qualified and experienced asbestos surveying contractor to conduct comprehensive annual asbestos condition surveys across all of its campuses located throughout Cumbria and North Lancashire. The successful contractor will need to be fully competent in asbestos surveying, hold relevant certifications, and be able to deliver surveys that comply with current Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations and the Control of Asbestos Regulations. Surveys should cover all buildings and facilities on each campus, identify any asbestos-containing materials (ACMs), assess their condition, and provide detailed reporting and recommendations. The contractor must demonstrate experience in educational institution surveys and provide evidence of insurance and professional accreditation.
