    Brief

    Plymouth City Council is hosting three market engagement events to brief potential homecare service providers on an upcoming procurement framework. The framework will procure homecare services across six specialised lots: Core Community Homecare, Dementia & Mental Health, Rapid Response & Hospital Discharge, Complex Care & Treatment of Disease/Disorder/Injury, Carers Emergency Response Service, and South-East & Rural Sector Core Community Homecare. The contract will commence on 1 April 2027 with a 9-year term (3+3+3 years) running until 31 March 2036, with an estimated annual contract value of £201.7 million. Three market engagement events are scheduled: Event 1 (14 August 2026, 11:00-13:00, face-to-face) covering Strategy Launch & Vision; Event 2 (21 August 2026, 13:00-16:00, face-to-face) on Service Specifications & Commercials; and Event 3 (26 August 2026, 13:30-15:30, virtual) for Mass Briefing. All events are held at Crownhill Court, Tailyour Road, Plymouth, PL6 5DH (except Event 3 via Microsoft Teams).
