NHS Health Checks Programme Recommissioning in East Riding of Yorkshire

The East Riding of Yorkshire Council is recommissioning the NHS Health Checks Programme, a statutory public health service providing cardiovascular health risk assessments to adults aged 40-74 years. This procurement aims to increase programme uptake, particularly among underserved and priority populations, and support early identification and management of cardiovascular disease risk factors. The service will be delivered through a mixed commissioning model combining both opportunistic and targeted approaches across diverse settings including community venues, workplaces, and primary care facilities.
