Independent Verification of Methane Emissions Measurement Process

Cadent is seeking information from qualified organizations to provide independent assurance services for their methane emissions quantification process. The company is transitioning from traditional coefficient-based methane reporting to a measurement-informed approach using vehicle-based advanced leak detection (ALD) data from their gas distribution network. The quantification process has been developed using Veritas Distribution Source-Level Protocols and is designed to meet Oil and Gas Methane Partnership (OGMP 2.0) Level 5 requirements for in-scope emission sources. This Request for Information (RFI) invites suppliers to share their capabilities, relevant experience, methodologies, and proposed assurance approaches for independently verifying conformance with both Veritas and OGMP 2.0 standards. Respondents should clearly document any assumptions regarding project scope, process maturity level, and applicable assurance standards.
