Transport Infrastructure Grounds and Winter Maintenance Services

West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) is seeking a service provider to deliver comprehensive grounds maintenance and winter upkeep across its transport infrastructure assets, including bus stations and park and ride facilities. The contract encompasses regular grounds maintenance, vegetation management, winter maintenance during colder months, litter picking services, and quoted works for specialist tree care. Services will be provided at all bus stations, park and ride locations, and the WMCA head office (16 Summer Lane). The service provider must work collaboratively with TfWM and partner organizations to maintain high service standards while demonstrating a commitment to sustainability through eco-friendly practices, low-emission vehicles, waste recycling, and innovative green technologies. Key objectives include maintaining asset safety and functionality, presenting professional facilities for public transport users, reducing liability and risk, achieving agreed service levels, prioritizing public and staff safety, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The successful contractor will be responsible for effective site inspections, asset management, and continuous improvement of service quality across all operational transport assets.
