Rail Station Accessibility Improvements - Greater Manchester (Access for All Tranche 5)

Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) is seeking qualified contractors to deliver accessibility enhancements at three rail stations in Greater Manchester: Broadbottom, Hall 'ith Wood, and Moorside, funded by the Department for Transport's City Region Sustainable Transport Settlements (CRSTS) programme. The project comprises two stages: Stage 1 involves refreshing feasibility studies and completing outline designs; Stage 2 covers detailed design, construction, and project completion. Station improvements will include new wayfinding systems, lifts, footbridges, ramp upgrades, and associated enabling works to ensure step-free access from station entrance to platforms. The contract will be awarded through a Competitive Flexible Procedure and may extend to similar minor accessibility enhancements at additional stations within Greater Manchester. Suppliers should have experience in rail infrastructure, accessibility design, and station enhancement projects.
