HIV Peer Support and Advice & Advocacy Services for South London

South London HIV services is seeking a provider or consortium of providers to deliver peer support and advice & advocacy (A&A) services for people recently diagnosed with HIV through Emergency Department testing programmes. The service will provide standardised in-clinic peer support as part of the multidisciplinary HIV clinic team, alongside comprehensive A&A services covering housing, finances, immigration advice, and signposting to mental health and substance abuse support. The provider must follow National Standards in HIV Peer Support guidance, implement robust outcome measures, and focus on improving client understanding of HIV diagnosis, engagement in care, health outcomes, and reducing transmission. Partnership and consortium bids are encouraged to leverage expertise across the voluntary and community sector. Key objectives include ensuring equitable access to services, improving retention in care and effective treatment uptake, building confidence and knowledge among people living with HIV to reduce stigma, and demonstrating measurable impact through data reporting.
