Designing Online Training Materials for SEND and Inclusion (Schools and Further Education)

The Department for Education is awarding a call-off contract under the Government Commercial Agency's Learning and Training Services Dynamic Purchasing System (RM6219) to design and develop online and downloadable training resources. These materials will support staff responsible for delivering in-house training on Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and inclusion to teachers and support staff across primary schools, secondary schools, and further education settings. The contract has been awarded to Ambition Institute. Initial contract term: 9 months (2 July 2026 - 31 March 2027), valued at £1,127,716 excluding VAT (£1,353,259.20 including VAT). An optional 12-month extension is available, potentially extending the contract to 31 March 2028, with a maximum total value of £2,255,432 excluding VAT (£2,706,518.40 including VAT). This is the first deliverable of a larger SEND CPD requirement announced in the Schools White Paper.
