    Brief

Westminster is seeking a specialist Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) service provider to support adult social care settings, including residential care homes and domiciliary (home-based) care providers. The successful supplier will deliver comprehensive IPC services including: facility audits and assessments, staff training programmes, professional advice and guidance, outbreak management and response, improvement planning, and development of IPC champion networks to embed best practices. The service aims to enhance infection prevention practices across the sector and reduce infection transmission risks. Suppliers should be prepared to assess current IPC models in domiciliary care and propose tailored support approaches alongside ongoing support to residential care homes. Contract duration: 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2028, with a potential 12-month extension to 30 June 2029.
