    Brief

Network Rail (High Speed) Limited is awarding two associated contracts to Compagnie des Signaux (CSEE) for the renewal of critical control systems on the HS1 route. The total contract value is £5,500,000 (ex VAT) and comprises two elements: a Professional Services Contract (£500,000) covering scope development, surveys, systems engineering, design and programme definition; and a Delivery Contract (£5,000,000) for supply, installation, integration, testing and commissioning. The project involves renewal of two operationally critical systems that support safe operation and monitoring of railway infrastructure: EMIS (Electrical Maintenance Management Information System): Renewal of obsolete field equipment including RTUs, DIOMs, servers and workstations; migration of operational functionality; cyber security enhancements; and comprehensive testing and support. RCCS (Rail Control and Communication System): Renewal of servers and operator workstations; migration of operational and training environments; replacement of hardware and software components nearing end-of-life; integration with associated control systems; and testing, commissioning, training and documentation. This is a strategic infrastructure investment to ensure the continued safe and reliable operation of HS1 rail services.
